Evolvulus glomeratus is a non-vining tender perennial with trailing stems. This is a low spreading plant with simple, alternate and hairy silvery-green foliage. Flowers are small, bell-shaped, blue morning glories that bloom throughout the growing season. The abundant, small flowers close up in the afternoon, at night and on cloudy days, than new flowers open in the morning. The fruits are inconspicuous and not showy.

This finely textured, dense and low-growing plant becomes a silvery-green carpet highlighted by a profusion of bright blue flowers. Well suited as an edging plant, Blue Daze will cascade beautifully over the side of stone wall, a raised planter, a container or a hanging basket.

The genus name comes from the Latin word “evolvulus” meaning “to unroll” and is referring to the species non-vining habit.
