Inking elements of nature and then printing them is an ancient technique used to record and understand the textures and parts of leaves. It is also an artistic resource that allows us to create and marvel at the variety of shapes and beauty in the natural world.
In this workshop, we invite you to capture the essence of leaves and get creative to make beautiful impressions with the shapes and textures of the trees and plants that inhabit The Kampong. It will be a creative morning of exploring our fantastic natural environment.
We’ll have a special holiday edition with seasonal papers and colors, where you can stamp your own cards and tags to dedicate to your loved ones. We will also provide plain paper if you just want to learn the art of stamping. The morning is open to experimenting with leaves, paper, and ink. We look forward to having you!
Following the printing session, this workshop gives you access to one of the most breathtaking botanical gardens in Miami, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of The Kampong.
This workshop is suitable for individuals aged 16 and above, and all necessary materials are included. The event is priced at $45 for general admission and $35 for NTBG/Kampong members.
