Update: January 29, 2018 — Breadfruit Agroforestry Volunteer Day has reached capacity and will not be taking any more participants at this time.
The Breadfruit Institute at National Tropical Botanical Garden is seeking agroforestry volunteers to help implement a new, global model in sustainable and regenerative agriculture at the Breadfruit Research Orchard in McBryde Garden on Kauai.
Become a volunteer and be a part of this exciting tropical agroforestry project! Volunteers must be able to lift at least 15 lbs., dig, rake, shovel, plant, and work in outdoor temperatures of 80°F.
Project volunteer days include January 29, 30, 31 and February 1, and 2 2018 (6 hour shifts)
8:00 am – 2:00 pm, check-in at 7:30 am
