Plant Description:
Shrub of 2 ft., laxly ascending; stems square, pale yellow, ribbed; leaves dark matte green above w/pale green 2nd degree veins , midrib clear whitish w/blade pale whitish-yellow on either side, below dull pale green w/raised pale whitish-green midvein and pale green second degree veins; bracts dark green at very base, dark brick red to scarlet; lower bracts leaflike; corolla clear translucent orange with lobes rolled under.
Habitat:
Secondary vegetation/agroforest.
Associated Species:
Albizia and Securinga canopy over Taro with Paspalum and Mikania.
