Flowers cream colored- fruit bright orange and conspicuous.
Palauan name "Lsid"
Ethnobotanical Notes:
In olden times the men and women would place a flower through the hole in their ear lobe using the flower for an ornament and for its scent-in olden times the fruit was used as a fly paper by removing the first layer of epidermis exposing a sticky surface; the seeds are very small and easily transported by birds or animals.
