Locality:
Waimea Canyon drainage, Koaie Canyon, below Lonomea Camp, south side of stream. Ca. 1.75 miles in on Koaie trail, above trail at rock face. Elev. 1400-1200 ft.
Plant Description:
3 small trees 10 ft. ht. (note: before Hurricane Iwa there were 10 trees) with flower buds.
Habitat:
Diospyros sandwicensis lowland mesic forest.
Associated Species:
With Myrsine, Nestegis, Canthium, Erythrina, Sapindus, Melia, Lantana, Aleurites.
