Wailua, beach area behind Kamalani Playground and the Wailua Golf course. Growing behind a dune next to the beach.
Plant Description:
Shrubby w/ procumbent stems. In Flw. and seed. Lvs glabrous, cordate. Young flowers cream colored, turning pink-purple w/ age. Petals crumpled, corolla remaining not fully open. 3-parted recurved diecious calyx.

With CCThespesia populnea, Ricinus communis, Clusia rosea, Schinus terebinthefolius, Scaevola sericea.
