Unlock your photographic potential with our exciting photography courses at The Kampong! Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just starting out, our upcoming courses cater to all levels. If you have a passion for photography or simply want to improve your camera skills, these courses are for you. Through hands-on lessons and expert guidance, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your camera’s capabilities, learn essential techniques for capturing stunning photos, and explore the art of visual storytelling. By enrolling in our courses, you’ll not only enhance your photography skills but also discover the world through a new, unique lens – your own.
In this 6 week introductory course we will tackle demystifying photo myths, maximizing camera controls, understanding exposure, the rules of composition and how camera controls interact. Field experience on the grounds of The Kampong and photo critique in the classroom will be combined as a way to learn based on constructive feedback.
This course is designed for students with a camera that can be used in A, S, M and P modes. If you do not, you can still participate and learn basic photography techniques using point and shoot or programmable cameras.
