Director’s Tour

The afternoon often displays the amazing color and majestic nature of Kahanu Garden and this tour is an opportunity for guests to attend a guided walk through the garden.

Start with a walk through the largest collection of breadfruit in the world, followed by a myriad of tropical trees.Then guests will transition into the environment of life in ancient Polynesia with rare collections of banana, sugar cane, taro and more. With the sun lowering over Haleakala, guests will experience Pi’ilanihale in a powerful setting.

After the tour, guests will be treated to a tasting of some of Hana’s favorite local confectionery delights from Maui Breadfruit Company and Hana Gold.
