Southwestern Maya Mountains, Columbia River Forest Reserve. Little Quartz Ridge: slopes and immediately adjacent limestone hills. Elev. 700-800 m.
Plant Description:
Erect herb; leaves dark green above. On steep, shaded slope.
Habitat:
Densely forested slopes, canopy 30-35 m; some exposed rock present. Emergent: Manilkara zapota.
