Plant Description:
Stems to 7 ft.; leaf sheaths green w/ burgandy mottling; leaves glossy, dark yellow-green, w/ yellow-green veins above, below dull, yellow-green w/ darker veination; inflorescence stalk green w/ reddish mottling that is especially prominent near base; young bracts whitish-green at base becoming darker green w/ dark green veins; scarious margin faintly reddish tinted; generally only 1 open flower/ inflorescence, w/ only inner tepals & staminodes exerted. After flowering outer tepals exert, first whitish green then becoming almost completely mottled red with age; floral bracts pale yellow-green, membranaceous, darker green near apex; inner tepals white becoming cream near base; labellum with yellow center from base to margin, becoming white along edges.
