Locality:
Anangu, ca 60 km downstream of Coca along the Ri Napo.
Plant Description:
Erect herb to eight ft.; fronds dark dull green with pale green midrib and glossy raised lateral veins, below glossy grey-green, midrib pale green with pale brownish-pink tinge; darker brownish-pink, very pubescent; inflorescence erect, flat; peduncle green overlain with dark pink; 1st bract dark green along keel to leaf-tipped apex; face dark pink running to black then green at margin; rachis dark blackish-maroon; upper bracts dark pink on face running to black then green along margin.

Specimen consists of two sheets (058873 & 058874).
