Plant Description:
A tree, approximately 7 m tall, on a small ledge just off the side of the ridgetop, above a sheer cliff. This is the mostly glabrous canyon form, with deep petiole and petiolules. One infructescence with hard immature fruit collected for KDOFAW nursery for post-harvest ripening and hopeful propagation. Two others present on plant (this collection of one of them) but only have small, aborted fruits remaining. Some natives persist on the cliff, above it is almost completely alien dominated. Collected by rappelling a short distance from the cliff top.
