Plant Description:
A tree, approximately 42 ft. tall with DSH of 61 cm, growing on a North-facing upper slope out of the surrounding uluhe in full sun. Tree has both abundant yellow flowers, immature, and mature fruit. Seeds collected by climbing for KDOFAW seed bank and for wilt resistance screening by HARC. This represents lowest altidudinal extent of this population, accessed via dirt bike trails just above the houses on Kahuna and Ahiahi Roads. Trees are codominant on this and the following ridges to the North, along the ridge tops, upper slopes, and in some higher gulch bottoms where still intact.
