Small senescent tree 3.5 m tall, trunk c. 10 cm diam. Leaves green with black punctations. Capsules green, each with 2-3 seeds, at this stage white covered with white hairs. Old capsules brown. Cultivated, grown from seed from a plant at Kahanu Garden on Maui.
