National Tropical Botanical Garden in Lawai Valley, McBryde Garden, Pump 6 area near crossover, east bank of Lawai Stream.
Plant Description:
Tree 20 m x 1.5 m dbh, bark shallowly fissured, butresses to 1.5 m high. Branches in 3 tiers, whorled; briefly deciduous with flush of new leaves and flowers. Infl. pendent, buds green, flrs white, sweetly fragrant, visited by flies. Fruits green, burgundy-red. Cult, seed from Kosrae (DL 7879). Illustration voucher.
