Plant Description:
Bud light orange-red. Sprawling tree about 8 ft tall with lax branches. Leaves dark green above and light green below with hairs on venation. Calyx yellow-green. 4 cutt to GH LC#20150992

Disturbed lowland windward Forest
Associated Species:
W/ Distubed lowland windward forest with Scattered Diospyros sandwicensis, groves of Psydrax odorata, Metrosideros polymorpha, Dicranopteris, Pandanus, Alyxia stellate, Clidemia, Cordyline, Schefflera actinophylla, Stachytarpheta, weedy Cyclosorus, occasional Wikstroemia oahuensis var. oahuensis, sickly Rauvolfia sandwicensis, and Pittosporum napaliense with all seed eaten by rats also Psychotria mariniana, Bobea elatior. Higher walls with Lobelia niihauensis, Euphorbia, Bidens, Dianella and Artemisia. Lower valley with Aleutites moluccana, Pisonia umbellifera, Spathodea campanulata, Pipturus.
