Locality:
National Tropical Botanical Garden in Lawai Valley. McBryde Garden, Big Valley, west side of Lawai Stream near crossover to Canoe Garden.
Plant Description:
Solitary palm 5 m tall including leaves, trunk not yet developed; leaves 6, erect-ascending, petiole yellow-green, canaliculate, c. 1.5 m long, blade palmate, ca. 2 x 1.5 m, stiff, brittle. Old male inflorescence collected, post flowering, unbranched, base decayed. Flowered in April 2021 (stamens yellow, tepals yellow-brown). From seed collected in Seychelles.
