Plant Description:
Densely branching shrub to ~8m. Mostly woody with new stem growth green and pliable. Leaves alternate, glabrous above, finely hair below. Petiole hairy near leaf base for ~1cm, becoming glabrous after. Stipules present at younger leaf nodes, dehiscing with age. Stipules finely hairy below, glabrous above. Flowers light yellow with red spot on base of each inner petal. Older flowers becoming red-tinged orange. Mature calyx with red tinge.

Naturalized stand in cultivated area
