Plant Description:
Seed to NTBG# 20140297. Shrub on open slope. Bright red flowers, leaves light green below and med to dark green above with yellow spots. About 10 trees in immediate area. Most seed split.
Habitat:
Lowland Windward Disturbed Mesic forest.
Associated Species:
W/ Melaleuca quinquenervia, Eucalyptus robusta, Psidium guajava, Grevillea robusta, Dicranopteris, remnant Metrosideros and A. koa, Pisonia, Clidemia hirata, Blechnum appendiculatum, Bidens, Freycinetia arborea, Machaerina angustifolia, Spathoglottis plicata, Phaius tankerville, Epidendrum, mosses.
