Plant Description:
Large old tree about 12 ft tall. Seed to NTBG# 20140298 Leaves med-green glossy with yellow mid-vein and raised lateral venation. Underside slight glossy med-yellow-green, mid-vein and other venation raised. Fruit dark green, shinny, with holes.
Habitat:
Lowland Windward Disturbed Mesic forest.
Associated Species:
W/ Melaleuca quinquenervia, Eucalyptus robusta, Psidium guajava, Grevillea robusta, Dicranopteris, remnant Metrosideros and A. koa, Pisonia, Clidemia hirata, Blechnum appendiculatum, Bidens, Freycinetia arborea, Machaerina angustifolia, Spathoglottis plicata, Phaius tankerville, Epidendrum, mosses.
