National Tropical Botanical Garden in Lawai Valley, McBryde Garden, Bamboo Bridge area on west bank of Lawai Stream, near Pelagodoxa henryana palm.
Plant Description:
Single inflorescence from leafless underground tuber, peduncle ca. 15 cm, terete; spathe externally pale green w paler green circular spots, margin revolute, internally dark purple distally, fading to greenish white medially, basally with dark purple spot; spadix spongy, purplish green fading pale brown, surface irregular, staminate zone cream color, pistillate zone cream color w dark purple stigmas.
