Plant Description:
Tree 10 m, trunk 40 cm dbh, bark blackish, scaly. Latex sticky, leaves dark shiny green above. Male inflorescences yellow-green. Cauliflorous, fruit ellipsoid, 30-40 x 19-25 cm, surface green, with conical spikes, seeds light brown. Cultivated, origin Sri Lanka.
