Plant Description:
Acaulescent herb 50-60 cm tall, deeply rooted in soil, leaves erect, in rosettes, U-shaped, green. Inflorescences axillary, in fruit nodding and touching ground. Fruits 2-5-seeded, green, beaked. Seeds greenish-white, 3-5 cm diam. Cultivated, F1 from plant in Bamboo Bridge area (NTBG 910534).
