Plant Description:
Tree of 15 ft.; trunk w/ peeling bark, muscular-looking; lvs ± glossy, dark green above w/ impressed veins, below grey-green w/ raised whitish-green veins; calyx green; petals whitish-cream, stamens same, numerous. Faintly fragrant 8 am.
Habitat:
Secondary vegetation.
Associated Species:
W/ Psidium, Syzygium, Schefflera, Spathodea, Urochloa and Sphagneticola.
