Plant Description:
Densely branched small tree 7 m tall, trunk 20 cm diam. near base, bark smooth, mottled pale brown, flaking off in patches. Flowers and fruit cauligerous and ramigerous on larger branches. Fruit 2-2.5 cm diam, dark purple-black, seeds 1(2), soft, white, embedded in sweet creamy pulp. Voucher for wood and DNA samples.
