Major Threats: The main threats to this ecosystem include habitat degradation by feral goats, competition with non-native plant taxa such as Grevillea robusta, Melia azedarach, Aleurites moluccana, Hyptis pectinata, Ageratum conyzoides, Kalanchoë pinnata, Rubus rosifolius, Adiantum hispidulum, Abutilon grandifolium, Crotalaria pallida, Triumfetta semitriloba, Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, and fire.
