Plant Description:
Tree of unknown height, first observed with spotting scope atop "The Great Escarpment," later recorded by drone. Collection made by cutting drone piloted by researchers from Quebecs Sherbrook University with guidance from myself and Ben Nyberg. Drone flown from Great Escarpment down into Hipalau. Inflorescence collected had mostly senescent fruits, with ripe ones apparently fallen off already. A second collection (AMW708) from another tree further up same valley of mature but hard fruits was post-harvest ripened and sown at DOFAW Pua Loke Nursery.
