Plant Description:
Slender shrubs 2-15 dm tall, leaves chartaceous, green above, paler green below, calyx wholly green, but in fruit more or less tinged with red; petals orange yellow, near the base with a maroon eye of streaks between the veins.
Habitat:
Forest openings on crest.
