West of Puhi at halfway bridge, growing along road to mine.
Plant Description:
Erect shrub, approx 2.5 m tall; leaves dark green with prominent venation; flowers white, detaching easily, subtended by bright crimson bracts.
Habitat:
Not cultivated. About five mature plants visible along the edge of alien forest
Associated Species:
with Schefflera actinophylla, Megathyrsus maximus, Falcataria moluccana, Calliandra houstoniana var. calothyrsus
