Plant Description:
Shrub of 5 ft.; leaves thick, leathery, glossy green above, glossy darker below; fruit dried, borne on stem below leaves. Locally common.
Specimen Treatment:
Stored either in Isopropyl Alcohol or Stolichnaya Vodka
Habitat:
Coastal vegetation over jagged limestone.
Associated Species:
Pemphis, Scaevola, Guettarda, Casuarina, Pandanus, Hibiscus, Sophora, Myoporum.
