Locality:
Lawai Valley, NTBG, West wall of lower Lawai Valley. Taking the path up past the Jurasic Banyons and up across from the female Buddha statue following the ridge top until past pump 6.
Plant Description:
1 Tree in good condition w. green scalels, in flower, flowers male. Lvs. dk. green on top, bottom lt. green w/ prominent veins., shinny both sides. Flws. w/ 8 double cylindrical stamens.
Habitat:
Leucaena-Caasuarina mixed lowland forest.
Associated Species:
W/ Opuntia ficus-indica, Cereus uruguayanus, Hylocereus undatus, Leucaena leucocephala, Senna surattensis, Kalanchoe pinnata, Coffea arabica, Strangler ficus, Syzygium, Ipomoea sp?, Erythrina sp., Erythrina sp?, Wikstroemia uva-ursi, Stachytarpheta cayennensis , Melanthera sp?, Waltheria americana, Syzygium cumini, Grevillea robusta, Pluchea, Spathodea campanulata, Clusia rosea.
