Plant Description:
Small tree, 3 m tall. Fruit dark red,3- winged. Common along slope.
Habitat:
Degraded mesic to dry forest.
Associated Species:
Open vegetation with patches of Metrosideros polymorpha, Diospyros spp., and Nestigis sandwicensis. Ground cover dominated by Melinis minutiflora (molasses grass), Kalanchoe pinnata, and lantana camara
