KAUAI: Koloa District, Lawai Valley. National Tropical Botanical Garden, in front of the Chalet (guest cottage) near Pump 6. Cultivated plants.
Plant Description:
Shrub 2m tall (was pruned back to ground). Flowers pendulous, corolla funnelform, at first pale yellowish white, at anthesis pure white, slightly fragrant (4pm); calyx green, spathaceous. This form wih double corolla. No fruit set noted (growing with several other cultivars).
