Plant Description:
Tree, 7-8 m tall, on edge of ridge above LZ, well branched, leaves light green, young leaves viscid, in flower (ca. 50 larvae inside flower, ca. 1.5 mm long), pollen observed, single tree in Lumahai, CUTTINGS COLL. ACC # 20200248.
Habitat:
Metrosideros lowland wet forest bordered by steep slopes of Dicranopteris and Diplopterygium matting ferns, 90% closed canopy
