Locality:
Past Hakahitau Bay to Hakatao (end of road); along coast above Halapota Bay.
Plant Description:
2 m tall, many branched tree; stems tan-brown; scattered in inland shrubland and forest; corolla white; fruit dark green; peduncle light green; leaves glossy, dark green above white-green below.
Habitat:
Coastal shrubland. Open cliffs and occasional drainage seeps inland.
Associated Species:
With Psydrax odorata, Xylosma suaveolens, Meytenus crenata, Pisonia grandis; with Xylosma and Sapindus.
