Plant Description:
Tree 7 m tall, trunk slender, 12 cm. diam. Leaves dark grn. above, paler beneath. Inflorescence w greenish-white bracts , corolla tube green, limb white. Ripe fruits waxy-white, foetid, seeds white. Scarce. Seed coll. voucher NTBG 980225.
Habitat:
Lowland mesic forest and coastal forest on cliffs.
Associated Species:
With Maytenus, Eugenia, Alyxia, Pouteria, Guettarda speciosa, Ficus, Dracaena, etc.
