Locality:
Along road heading N along W coast to Aimeliik, 1.5 miles N of turnoff from main paved leading to Airai, just inland of mangrove forest. Elev. 1-2 m.
Plant Description:
Small tree 2 m tall at edge of mangrove forest. Lvs. shiny green above, paler beneath. Corolla white. Fruits ovoid, waxy white and fetid when ripe, seeds brown. N.V. "Niel" . NTBG acc. # 980177.
Habitat:
Lowland evergreen swamp forest.
Associated Species:
With Horsfieldia, Cerbera, Campnosperma, Macaranga, Calophyllum, Cocos and Bambusa.
