Plant Description:
Succulent herb with leaves clustered at base (others in population were succulent shrubby plants to 80 cm). largely decumbent, rooted precariously in moss and liverworts over crumbly soil. Roots largely very pale green. Leaves and stems glabrous. Stem below leaves pale green with purplish cast. Stem above leaves glossy, light green, very shallowly grooved with two slightly raised wings on either side. Leaf darker green above than below, becoming paler at edges, central vein paler; leaf below much paler, glossy. Stipules 4 x 4 mm, mucro 2 mm long. Bracts subtending inflor. 7 mm long. Pedicels to 17 mm. Hypanthium in flower to 4 x 4 mm, enlarging to 7 x 7 mm in fruit. Calyx lobes in flower 2 x 3 mm, in fruit 2.5 x 7 mm. Corolla white, salverform. Tube slightly glossy, 10mm, the limb 14 mm wide, tube lightly ridged, ridges proceeding down from center of petal, and from angle of petals; tube deeply grooved within. Petals 6 x 3 mm, broadest just above the base of tube. Pollen pale yellow. Stigma brown, grooved. Style very pale green, gradually tapering up from base to a slight constriction just below stigma; base of style with shaggy white hairs. Green fruit recepticle glossy, surface of hypanthium much duller. About 30 plants in population.

Dripping rock face 5-10 m above sea.
