50 cm tall, 3 branched sub-shrub; lower stems tan-brown, young stems green; corolla yellow-green; west aspect on side gulch of Kunoa East; open stream bank w/ basalt talus & fine brown soil; single plant.

Metrosideros-Dicranopteris Riparian
Associated Species:
w/ Freycinetia, Selaginella arbuscula, Cyrtandra grayana, Perrottetia, Sadleria pallida, Thelypteris stegnogrammoides, Pittosporum confertiflorum, Pipturus, Scaevola.
