west rim of Kaipapa'u which devides Koloa Gulch; steep slopes on the Kaipapa'u side; above gulch headwaters on banks.
Plant Description:
Scandant shrub along stream drainages and occasional along steep slopes below ridges; corolla white; ca 100 plants observed.
Habitat:
lowland Metrosideros mixed shrub/fern wet forest
Associated Species:
with Pritchardia martii, Syzygium sandwicensis, Melicope clusii- folia, Scaevola chamissoniana, Rhynchospora sclerioides, Psychotria spp.
