Allerton Garden in lower Lawai Valley, E side of Lawai Stream; just S of golden bamboo grove near Sterculia tree.
Plant Description:
Large shrub 5, branches arching, leaves dark glossy green above. Corolla deep scarlet, not fragrant (10 am), axes of inflorescence red. Cultivated, not accessioned.
