Plant Description:
Shrub 3 m tall, between fields A and B, rare in the Jardin Botanico. Flowers orange.
Habitat:
Brushy strips between fields (abandoned ca. 1983), originally semi-deciduous forest, flat, fine sandy soil.
Associated Species:
Tecoma stans, Solanum riparium, Guazuma ulmifolia, early second-growth species.
