Plant Description:
Densely branching shrub or small tree 2 m., leaves glossy. Flowers strongly gardenia-scented (5 pm.), corolla tube pale green, lobes white. Cultivated, NTBG Accn. no. 860102008. Grown from seed from Jardin Botanico Nacional, Habana, Cuba. (Note: accessioned under the name of Rothmannia globose, from seed source.)
