Limahuli Valley. West side of ridge seperating Limahuli and Hanakapiai valleys, above waterfall; Elev. 1600-2060 ft.
Plant Description:
Single tree of 30 ft. on uluhe covered slope; dbh 12 inches; petals white with yellow tinge on margin, tube yellow-green; very fragrant!
Habitat:
almost undisturbed low elevation rain forest.
Associated Species:
Predominantly Metrosideros, Antidesma, Cibotium, and Dicranopteris.
Comments:
