Maui: Honolua Drainage; Metrosideros-Cheirodendron-Dicran opteris wet forest; riparian zone characterized by 3--30 m wide stream bed dominated by native species; occasional terraces of Musa, Colocasia, and Cordyline; vertical stream walls dominated by Thelypteris stegnogrammoides; banks have thick blanketing of bryophytes. Elev. 2400-3000 ft.
Plant Description:
230 degrees aspect; 2480 ft elevation; 12 m tall, many branched tree on ridge up to 2535 ft peak on topo; single sterile tree.

Associated Species:
riparian zone characterized by 3-30 m wide stream bed dominated by native species. Occasional terraces of Musa, Colocasia, Cordyline; vertical stream walls dominated by Thelypteris stegnogrammoides; banks have thick blanketing of bryophytes.
