Plant Description:
Shrub 2 m tall, leaves glossy. Corolla white, fragrant. Ripe fruits externally green, splitting irregularly at apex to reveal bright orange, fleshy mesocarp and white endocarp, seed mass bright orange, fleshy, seeds discoid, brownish yellow. Pericarp smells and tastes like tamarind pulp. Three shrubs together, all setting fruit.
