Locality:
Ridge separating Hakahao valley from Aneau river valley, Hakahau side of ridge.
Plant Description:
Small tree 4 m tall, leaves glossy dark green with slightly undulate margins. Fruit green ripening red. Naturalized,abundant and often locally dominant in understory.
Associated Species:
With Casuarina, Cyclophyllum, Psydrax, Wikstroemia, Cerbera, Pisonia grandis, Pandanus, Xylosma, and Maytenus, some invasion by Tecoma stans and Syzygium cumini.
