Plant Description:
Slender trees reaching 5-6 m tall x 5 cm d.b.h., leaf margins undulate, corollas 5-lobed (fallen), young fruits green, seedlings and juveniles abundant. Abundantly naturalized.
Habitat:
Mature but formerly disturbed evergreen wet forest.
Associated Species:
With canopy of Horsfieldia and Elaeocarpus, with understory of Syzygium stelechanthum invaded by abundant Coffea arabica.
