Tree of 12 ft.; leaves dark glossy green above, duller and paler below; fruit ± glossy medium green, 2 locules.

Habitat:
Disturbed forest.
Associated Species:
With Spathodea, Barringtonia, Hibiscus, Ardisia, Macaranga and Cardiospermum.
